Cavalry Regiment in Vilseck, Germany for a week of heritage, fun and comradery from 17 to 20 July 2018.
The Regiment welcomes all Dragoons to join in a week long celebration honoring our illustrious history dating back to 1836. Step inside a Stryker Combat Vehicle and see the Army’s newest acquisition, the “Dragoon” Stryker armed with a 30mm cannon. Meet and socialize with the brave Soldiers currently deployed on the frontier of freedom.
– The Regiment will unveil the new Global War on Terrorism Memorial, honoring the Soldiers that have made the ultimate sacrifice.
– Bring your running shoes and challenge yourself in the Regimental Run!!
– The Regiment also invites you to the Regimental Dinning In. Just the thing to bring out those old Stetsons and Spurs!
– The week will conclude with a change of command as we bid farewell to Colonel Pat Ellis and welcome the new team!
So, please consider joining your fellow Dragoon in Vilseck, 17-20 July, for some good Cavalry Cheer! All Troopers and spouses are welcome!
