Greetings Dragoons:
On behalf of the leadership of the Association and the Regiment, we want to extend our warmest wishes this Holiday season.
To those Troopers standing watch on the frontiers of freedom today, know we deeply appreciate your dedication and sacrifice. Your service represents the legacy of all who have gone before you, and we are profoundly grateful for your contribution to our Army and our Nation.
To those of you traveling to spend time with family and friends, we hope you enjoy a well-earned respite. And to our brothers and sisters who no longer have those moments ahead of you, we hope you find comfort and joy in the fruits of your service, surrounded by loved ones in peace and warmth.
As we celebrate this season, let us remember our continued responsibility to care for our fellow Troopers and their families. Even during this time of year, there are those in need among us. Organizations like AER, ACS, and the Red Cross continue to provide excellent support.
The Association stands ready to augment these services as an agency of last resort. Through the Dragoon Troop, we’ve been able to provide assistance where no other resources are available—whether it’s funding for a Trooper with an extraordinary need or supporting families facing emergencies, such as utility payments, baby formula, or even a Christmas gift.
This holiday season, we are seeking support to continue these efforts. Rest assured, all expenditures are carefully considered by the board and are made with dignity and respect for those in need.
