This is gonna be a great year to be a Dragoon, but then again when is it not a great year to be a Dragoon?
As you all probably know, we are celebrating the 190th anniversary of the founding of our Regiment, and we are touching off what we are calling the Decade of the Dragoon. Some of you, not as fully steeped in Regimental history as Tim, Matt, TJ, and of course Tacoma Dave, may have missed the fact that this is 180th anniversary of the battles of the Rasaca de la Palma, and Palo Alto.

If you can, please join your fellow Dragoons in Texas this May as we celebrate the 180th anniversary down in McAllen Texas. This mini-reunion is shaping up to be a grand old time including a battlefield visit, a chuckwagon experience, good Tex-Mex food, and of course Dragoon Fellowship.
In addition to getting to hang out with Joe and Mo we will issue a commemorative Stetson pin to attendees.
